President: Tonia Osieczanek

Hello hockey fans! My name is Tonia Osieczanek and I am more than honored to be serving as the President of the Huntsville Havoc Booster Club for the 4th consecutive year. I can honestly say I am just as eager now as I was in my 1st season to be filling this role. I am originally from Minnesota (where they truly have “ice in their veins”) and moved to the Florida panhandle when I was 10 years old (where the ice melted!). Growing up in the north, I was around hockey a lot as a child due to my brother and several other relatives playing the awesome sport!

I served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4).  There is not a day of my service that I regret, well . . . except maybe my retirement.  Either way, I am proud to have served the 22 years that I did. After a 2 year stint of being retired, I decided to go back to work in a completely different career field, but one that always had my interest – legal work.

They say in the Army you have a second family, which I found to be very true. However, I can say the same is very true of our Havoc family.  There have been so many friendships gained, whether it be with other Booster members, fans, players, players’ families, or the staff – they are all wonderful people I consider “family” in one fashion or another.  It is just awesome to come together to work for one common goal – seeing hockey succeed in the south and supporting the best team in the SPHL!! And, I must say, one of the best aspects of being a part of the “Havoc family” is seeing the many smiles on my daughter’s face during the games, when talking to other fans about Havoc, and when she gets to see and do things with the players after games and during booster events = PRICELESS!  

I have NO doubt our Executive Board and general membership will continue to accomplish wonderful things for the Havoc organization and exceed expectations.  I am very excited to be serving as the President and am looking forward to serving for and with you!  If you are already a Havoc Booster Club member, THANK YOU!  If you are not, I highly encourage you to join our group of amazing individuals; you will not regret it!  Now let’s go do great things for the Havoc!

VICE President: kyle scholl

Greetings!  My name is Kyle Scholl, and I am honored to serve as the HHBC’s Vice President. I figured it was time to move up to bigger and better things after serving 2 years as the Parliamentarian!  I am a practicing attorney here in Huntsville and an avid Havoc fan!  While I originally hail from Georgia, I moved to Alabama over ten years ago to attend Auburn University (War Eagle!) and have continued my education, travels, and career before calling Huntsville my home, where I reside with my wife who was born and raised here in Huntsville, and our infant son.  The Havoc organization and the HHBC continue to set the bar in the SPHL, so having the opportunity to work with the wonderful HHBC Board members is truly an enjoyable calling.  When I’m not zealously cheering on our team, I enjoy golfing, traveling with my family, and tasting scrumptious foods.  I am committed to serving the HHBC the best I can while also collaborating with the other HHBC Board members so that we can continue to showcase our loyal fans, great HHBC members, talented players and coaches, incredible staff, and continued championships!  Please feel to contact me or any other HHBC Board member if we can ever be of any assistance to you.  See you at the games & GOOOOOO HAVOC!!

Secretary: D.J. DOORENBOS

Hi, everyone! My name is D.J. Doorenbos, and I’m excited to be serving as the Secretary for the Huntsville Havoc Booster Club. My husband, Garrett, and I moved to the area a few years ago from Mississippi. Having followed the local team while I was younger, I was excited to be back in a town with hockey. It wasn’t long before we were at every game, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of the BEST fanbase in the SPHL!

After one of the many spectacular Havoc games we’ve seen, we saw a lady carrying a load of boxes and offered to help. After we put the boxes down, she handed us a piece of paper and told us to sign it and pay the fee. So that’s how we became a part of the Booster Club, and we have enjoyed every minute of it since. It has been wonderful to see and be a part of what the Booster Club has been able to do. It keeps getting better and better, and we are still finding ways to help the team.

Member-at-large: chuck silver

Hello everyone, my name is Chuck Silver and I am honored to serve as your Member – at – Large. I have racked up a whole lot of PIM for not having my bio completed. I am coming out of the box and hope to catch a breakaway pass heading down the ice! This is my second year in the Booster Club and first year as the Member-at-Large.

I am originally from Massachusetts, “Go Bruins”, and I grew up playing on a lake in the winter and in the street in the summer…CAR! I always looked forward to getting the “Okay” from an older kid in the neighborhood that the ice was good to go. If you’ve never been playing hockey on a pond and hear those loud cracking sounds beneath you, you’ve missed out. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2006 after 20 years and was fortunate enough to stay in the field I love which is Chinook Helicopters! That is how I ended up in Huntsville.

I have really enjoyed being involved in the Booster Club and am constantly learning about the operations of the club and board. I look forward to the remaining time I have on the board as your Member-at-Large.
